Pop-Up Restaurants “It is amazing what you can create in the middle of a field, with crockery, cutlery and a most importantly a (dry) seat” Tom Hewer Catering was invited by the Buckingham group to present a ‘pop-up’ Frank’s Steakhouse in the Woodlands Campsiteat the British Grand Prix 2012 at Silverstone. This was based on our flagship steakhouse restaurant in Northampton delivering quality, local, fresh produce. A 90 seater restaurant was created in a marquee seemingly ‘just like that’. We have been invited back each year since and in 2014 we were also sponsored by Force India racing team and Kingfisher to provide ‘A Taste of India’ buffet style Indian cuisine. Franks Steakhouse has also ‘popped up’ at the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park where we hosted the Hampton’s Garden Club serving sandwiches and salads, bistro style and a la carte dining, a champagne reception & fully stocked bar.
